I'm new to the area and new to salt water fishing. About 2 weeks ago a huge school of mullet came through which sparked very successful fishing for bluefish. If anyone could offer suggestions on where to try fishing from shore I would aprecieate it. Man it'd be nice to have a boat.....

Yeah, without a boat you're pretty much at the whims of nature. Sometimes they're in from the north, other times the south side is better. If ya had a boat then I could pin point. But I often see a group out near the jetty.
